FEAST.

Dinner parties are severely underrated.
Especially when they include cooking adventures of epic proportions.

Last Friday was a tale of bravery, innovation, and hope against the odds. Our hero was the dashing young prince, Antonia the Great, followed closely by her trusty sidekick, Liv of the Giant Beetroots. Set in the wilderness of Mont Albert, we set out to make the greatest vegetarian lasagne known to... well... us, followed by a half decent lemon tart, with pizza and roast vegetables for starters.

After throwing a bit of cheese, basil, artichoke, beetroot, wine, cream, olive oil, spinach, salt and a shitload of garlic into the already diverse mix (in separate dishes, of course) I can safely say, we reached our destination.

We conquered that meal.
We achieved that goal.

Thankyou to Liv who hosted and cooked for us, to Antonia for taking the role of head chef, to Jarrod for the wine and expert cutting abilities, to Chantel for the laughs and Andre for the entertainment.

This was by no means the Last Supper.

(Some photos taken by Antonia and Jarrod.)
