WEAPON OF CHOICE
These were taken on the last day at Tasmania, waiting around at City Park for a few hours before taking a bus to the airport.

DISPOSED OF THOUGHTFULLY
Got my two second-hand-used-by-four-years-ago disposable cameras developed. EXCITEMENT! Except that the cameras weren't as shitty as I had hoped. Nothing strange happened to the colours and there were no light leaks. Disappointing. Anyway here are some of my favourites.
It would seem that dog one, dog two and brother are all key characters in the (somewhat mundane) story that is my life.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS TWO.
The quality of Christmas cracker jokes is without doubt on a steady decline. Here's a little bit of intellectual genius that brightened my Christmas lunch the other day. Witty.
I think the joke is that it doesn't make any sense, and that it isn't in the slightest bit funny.
The thousand monkeys on a thousand typewriters scene from the Simpsons comes to mind.
I found it hilarious.
This comedian has a future.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS. The whole thing is incredibly entertaining. Humans are such strange creatures. It’s hilarious. One must take the opportunity to open the singing Christmas bag 20 times too many just to remind everyone that ‘tis the season to be jolly.
This year my brother and I even got a token present from my… great Aunt I think she is, Nancy. Brother Tom got $10. A wonderful, universally enjoyed gift. I, on the other hand, got this decorative COAT HANGER. And it’s this lovely shade of rose pink. It’s puffy. It’s got little flowers on it. And a pretty bow on top just to finish off the whole design beautifully. All I can say is that it was a good thing I opened it after Nancy left, because my parents and brother were beside themselves in hysterics.
I appreciate the thought, Nancy, but I’m really sorry – this decorative coat hanger is as close to the antithesis of who I am as any gift could be. It will make a most excellent re-gifted joke present. Many thanks. I’ll see you next Christmas.

LIKE A SHITTY EASTER SUIT.
Tonight is the last night I'll be sleeping in what is perhaps the most perfect house I have and will ever live in. *sigh*
This is my favourite graffiti at the brick recoverers joint next to my house.
This is the one photo I had been meaning to take since I first saw the place.
I took it this afternoon.
Done.

COOKING WITH GAS
There were a couple of interesting old buildings near where we were staying in Tasmania, so Natasha and I decided to go on a photography adventure. We're both suckers for depth of field and blurriness, but, surprisingly, our photos turned out quite different to each other (mainly because we were using completely different lenses).
In relation to the title of this post - the large derelict warehouse we photographed had "COOK WITH GAS" in huge letters across the top. So great.
