HENSONISM

Saw Bill Henson's talk at Fed Square this evening.

While the bulk of his speech just washed over me, a couple of things he said in response to audience questions stuck.

"Any artist that is any good will always have doubts.
I spend a lot of time sitting in my chair looking at my work saying, "I don't buy
it."

"90% of life is grey.
People forget that."

"Everyday is exciting.
Everyday I'm drunk on the world's beauty."

On a somewhat unrelated note, I just had a bit of fun with colours.
