SOCCER AWARDS NIGHT

Whatever happened to clever titles? I couldn't think of any tonight. Functionality won over creativity... but just this once. Let's not get too efficient just yet.

Long time no blog. I've been busy!
It is good to see you again.

I wasn't going to bring my camera to the Brighton Grammar soccer presentation night last night, because I generally don't spend my energy taking photos at such events. I don't like being that person pointing a lens in everyone's face (I know I always am). Live in the moment and all the rest of it. But in the end I was sorta glad that I took it along.

Here are some of the better shots.

James managed to pull in the most awards of the night. Two of them to be precise. It doesn't matter what the awards were for, just that they were awards. Congratulations Mr McConnachie! He received a trophy and a beautiful *gag* purple dress. And he also ranked number six out of the top ranked look-alikes.
His match was Matt Preston.

I... I don't see it.

Kenshiro received a best and fairest award for his efforts during the season. The trophy is of relative size, colour and (implied) material to its recipient, and stood in for Ken in many a photo during the rest of the night.

Our after party venue of choice was Dendy Deli. That counts... right?
